Tailgate open/clise module continues to open without me hitting the auto release device in the truck OR fob. NOTE: GMC built in Quebec! It resulted in a call to the dealership this spring, an inspection and they indicated it was fine.

Safety Complaint – 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 Tailgate While driving our 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 and towing a trailer, the tailgate unexpectedly opened and dropped down while the vehicle was in motion.

The GMC Sierra has a known issue from the manufacturer in which the power sliding rear window can start to leak water into the cab of the truck during rain or other impact with outside water.

Summary: Rollx Vans (Rollx) is recalling certain GMC Yukon, Sierra, Chevrolet Express 2500, Ford Transit, E-250, Toyota Sienna, Sienna Hybrid, Honda Odyssey, Chrysler Town and Country, Voyager, Pacifica, Dodge Grand Caravan, and Ram Promaster vehicles equipped with QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints. Please refer to Rollx's recall report for specific model year information. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.
Remedy: Rollx will work with Q'Straint to inspect and replace the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 5, 2026. Owners may contact Rollx's customer service at 1-800-956-6668.
