Prior to midnight on 9/25/2025 I stopped at a Sheetz in Stephen"s City , Va to charge my 2022 Kia EV6. Upon pulling into the charging area I discovered construction fencing around the area with the chargers removed.

On [XXX], I pulled into a parking space, and the car suddenly accelerated, jumped the curb, and hit the building. This is the second time this happened. It happened when I was parking in May 2022; the car suddenly accelerated and struck a fence.

ICCU failure. I charged overnight at my home L2 charging as usual. I backed out of my garage and heard a loud pop. Almost immediately an “check electrical” warning came up. The car went to turtle mode and then completely died.

I began to drive. The dashboard display read "Check low voltage supply" or something like that and on the opposite side of the display there was a small image that looks like a 12V battery.

The door closed sensor fails intermittently. This causes the car to sound an alarm while driving, prevents locking of the doors, and results in automated sudden braking at low speeds, such as in heavy stop & go traffic, causing a significant crash hazard.
