What owners report
1) All the sensors on the truck relating to the auto emergency breaking, pass sensors, cruise control ETC are malfunctioning, truck was at 10,000 miles at the time and brand new. 2) This feature contributed to an accident on Jan 14 2025.

Erratic operation. Indicator in side mirrors flickering with no object present. Dealer installed a new left side blind spot monitor which was tested and found to be defective, Have been waiting more than a week to have another one delivered.
The contact owns a 2026 Chevrolet Colorado. The contact stated that while driving 70 MPH with the adaptive cruise control engaged, while the vehicle was approaching another vehicle from the rear, the brakes independently activated.
The blind spot indicator on my truck activates randomly without any vehicle present, and I reported this issue immediately after purchasing it.
The automated emergency breaking system has been triggered unintentionally twice traveling at speeds of 50 miles per hour. There was no vehicle or object that entered our path.
