What owners report
Power Steering suddenly stopped functioning as I was towing a trailer approx 5000 lbs. ‘Service Power Steering Drive With Care’ popped up on dash. No dealership visit as this just happened. Truck is unfit for driving safely.
Power steering failure, without incident. It started one morning, after turning off truck the previous day. Warning lights displayed as soon as truck was started. Very difficult to turn steering wheel. Too dangerous to drive.
While driving at any speed when steering wheel is at the 1 to 2 o' clock position on a right turn, steering wheel wobbles and regardless of road condition. Stabitrack warning light comes on occasionally.
The contact owns a 2021 Chevrolet Colorado. The contact stated that while attempting to make a right turn from a traffic light, the vehicle lost power steering functionality, and the steering wheel became difficult to turn.
Beginning in Nov 2025 my steering wheel occasionally catches, grabs or gets stuck at slow speeds in forward or reverse as I turn the wheel like pulling into a parking space.
Starting my 2021 Chevy Colorado Zr2 in the morning and noticed the "service power steering, drive with care message. 40,000 miles. No power steering. This would clear after leaving vehicle sit and restarting.
