On August 5, 2025, my 2023 Honda Civic Sport (VIN: [XXX] ) was involved in a minor collision at approximately 5–10 mph. The vehicle sustained only cosmetic damage—no intrusion into the engine bay, and no damage to wheels, tires, or suspension.

Start stop feature creates a pause when taking off, has cause me to be bumped in the rear twice. Feature come on automatically when starting the car .it should be off unless wanted , the switch does not always turn system off when pressing.

While driving the vehicle, the sunroof glass suddenly exploded outward with a loud, distinct "pop" sound. There were no vehicles or trucks immediately ahead of me, and there was no evidence of road debris, stray rocks, or external impact.

Honda Civics have a known Air Conditioning issues with an extended 10 year warranty on some parts including the A/C compressor seal and A/C Condenser. Other parts that may fail as a result of these two parts failing are no covered by the extended warranty.

Summary: Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2017-2018 Honda Civic Hatchback and Civic Type R vehicles. The owners guide in these vehicles may not have been included or if included, the owner's guide may not have been properly provided required information. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 225, "Child Restraint Anchorage Systems."
Remedy: Honda will notify owners, and dealers will replace the owners information kit, free of charge. The recall began January 9, 2019. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's number for this recall is O3A.
