I am writing to file a complaint regarding the air conditioning system failure in my 2020 Honda Civic Sport. The air conditioner in my vehicle began blowing hot air instead of cold air starting in January 2024.

On August 5, 2025, my 2023 Honda Civic Sport (VIN: [XXX] ) was involved in a minor collision at approximately 5–10 mph. The vehicle sustained only cosmetic damage—no intrusion into the engine bay, and no damage to wheels, tires, or suspension.

The air conditioner compressor failed on my car at about 85,000 miles. My mechanic told me that they are noticing many 2019-2022 Honda Civics with the exact same problem, with the A/C compressor failing at about the same mileage.
