The contact owns a 2025 Hyundai Tucson. The contact stated that while exiting the vehicle, he opened the front driver's door and scraped his leg on the edge of the door.
On 08/31/2025, I was involved in an accident while driving my 2025 Hyundai Tucson. While attempting to change lanes at highway speed, the driver behind me failed to see my turn signal and collided with my vehicle.
The windshield wipers will only go up once they have fully gone down all the way. Therefore, when snow (or something else) gets stuck below the windshield wipers while they are in use, they cannot go all the way down, and they will therefore not go back up…
We have had two starburst cracks from very small rocks hitting our windshield on the highway and chips from tiny hail. I have never had a car with such a fragile windshield before.
The contact owns a 2023 Hyundai Tucson. The contact stated that the panoramic sunroof exploded while driving at approximately 40-50 MPH. The rear section of the sunroof glass had shattered into several pieces without impact.
Wipers stop working. They will freeze and stop moving across the windshield. So far I can fix the problem by turning the wipers off and then back on. My concern is that may not work in the future.

Summary: Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2022 Tucson and 2022-2023 Santa Cruz vehicles. The roof moldings may detach.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace, or secure the roof moldings, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 30, 2023. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai's number for this recall is 241.
