Hit a deer on highway and when impacted the hood flew up and smashed the windshield. I was unable to see where I was or if I was headed into the ditch or on coming traffic.
The contact owns a 2025 Hyundai Tucson. The contact stated that on three occasions, while his wife was driving on the expressway in rainy weather, the windshield wipers became inoperable.
I heard a loud bang from overhead when driving on the road in August 2026. There was no visible impact from road debris or any other object.
Sunroof exploded on the freeway while i was driving I heard a very loud bang and thought it must be the car next to me.
The windshield wipers will only go up once they have fully gone down all the way. Therefore, when snow (or something else) gets stuck below the windshield wipers while they are in use, they cannot go all the way down, and they will therefore not go back up…

Summary: Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2022 Tucson and 2022-2023 Santa Cruz vehicles. The roof moldings may detach.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace, or secure the roof moldings, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 30, 2023. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai's number for this recall is 241.
