Hit a deer on highway and when impacted the hood flew up and smashed the windshield. I was unable to see where I was or if I was headed into the ditch or on coming traffic.
The contact owns a 2025 Hyundai Tucson. The contact stated that on three occasions, while his wife was driving on the expressway in rainy weather, the windshield wipers became inoperable.
I heard a loud bang from overhead when driving on the road in August 2026. There was no visible impact from road debris or any other object.

Resumen: Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2022 Tucson and 2022-2023 Santa Cruz vehicles. The roof moldings may detach.
Solución: Dealers will inspect and replace, or secure the roof moldings, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 30, 2023. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai's number for this recall is 241.
