I was driving on I25 south towards Albuquerque. I was changing lanes and another vehicle slammed into me causing me to crash into the guard rail. I was going 75 miles per hour at the time and my air bags did not deploy and my vehicle is very likely totaled.
I was stopped at a Red light & was hit from behind at approximately 55-60 Mph.And was pushed into a full size pick up truck in front of me at appx 35 feet. NOT ONE AIR BAG DEPLOYED.
There is a piece missing on the back of one of my seatbelt buckle latches (back drivers side). It looks like the latch is splitting open. All of the sudden the back drivers side door is stuck closed/shut and often won’t open.

Vehicle airbags did not deploy when hitting a solid concrete wall at 50 mph after hydroplaning. Impact was front bumper.
The contact owns a 2018 Nissan Rogue Sport. The contact stated while driving at 65 MPH, the contact noticed an abnormal loud sound. The contact stated that all the air bags independently deployed.
Seat sensor is not sensing passenger sitting. Airbag off light is off on dash.

The driver and front passenger seat belt pretensioners may have been incorrectly manufactured, which can cause the seat belts to not properly restrain occupants. Due to a manufacturing issue, the driver's air bag inflator may absorb moisture, and cause the air bag to deploy improperly.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the front driver's air bag assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 10, 2024. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-867-7669. Nissan's numbers for this recall are PD103, PD104, and PMA34.
Summary: Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2023 Nissan Rogue vehicles. The fastener in the rear seat belt anchor attachment points may not have been tightened properly and can loosen over time.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and tighten the rear seat belt anchor bolts. Additionally, dealers will apply warning labels to the seat belt attachment points to indicate the bolt size and torque value required for any future seat belt repair.
