I was in my 2021 Nissan Rogue and just turned right down the street from my in-laws home ( out of state in Indiana) when the vehicle violently jerked to the right and I was unable to control it and sent me into a ditch. My speed was 14mph when this happened.
Steering wheel locked up while vehicle was in motion (moving). Yes. Steering noise coming from steering column. Lost control of steering while driving, drove into oncoming traffic. I was injuried while trying to get my vehicle in control.
As I am driving on the freeway my drivers assistance is taking control of my steering and steering me either sharp to the left or right and then I can’t move the steering wheel for about 10 seconds at a time
The contact owns a 2021 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while her husband was driving 75 MPH in the far-left lane, with the contact in the front passenger's seat, the vehicle completely lost power steering functionality in heavy traffic.
Inner tie rod on the driver side fell off why driving down the interstate. No warnings and no previous maintenance on that part or area. Mechanic said the bolt just came off with no reason.
On Friday 1/16/26 @ 9 am, my daughter was backing out her parking space to go to school. As she barely drove forward, the car just suddenly stopped.
