On March 4, I took my car in for the high pressure fuel pump recall and was under the impression that it was replaced. On May 7 my car caught on fire two minutes after exiting the vehicle.

In May of 2024, We got a recall letter for an inoperable fuel pump from Honda Automobile Division, & we did not get a replacement. They were short on supply, & those who experienced symptoms as engine light and may have rough engine starts were the priorities.

The fuel pump inside the fuel tank may fail.
