What owners report
On 9/06/2026 my 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid was involved in a severe collision where the impact occured on the drivers side at the passenger door. The vehicle spun several times before coming to a stop. During the spins the front passenger door flew opening.
Sunroof exploded while driving down the freeway. Covering the occupants in glass, including the driver, this caused cuts from glass shards. This is a known issue to Toyota. They decided not to do a recall.
The contact owns a 2022 Toyota Rav4 Prime. The contact stated that while driving 30 MPH, there was a popping sound coming from the vehicle and the sunroof simultaneously exploded, causing shattered glass to fall onto the closed shade cover.
The exterior plastic parts on this 2023 Toyota RAV4 XLE Premium are warping, bubbling, and melting. It began with both side mirror covers (left and right).
The wipers started acting up a few months ago, the low setting would cycle 7 times then stop randomly, the high setting would cycle 11 times then stop randomly. I could reset it by turning off, then on.
The contact owns a 2022 Toyota RAV4. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was an abnormal sound coming from the front driver's side door. The contact inspected the vehicle and became aware that there was water in the door panel.
