BACK OVER PREVENTION: SENSING SYSTEM: CAMERA Nummer 26V327000 · 2026-05-21
Zusammenfassung: Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2019 and 2023 Chrysler Pacifica, 2024 Ram 1500, Ram 2500, and 2024-2025 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. Contamination in the central vision processing module or improper programming may cause the rearview camera image not to display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."
Risiko: A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Abhilfe: Dealers will update the central vision processing module software or replace the module, as necessary, free of charge. Abhilfe: Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures and not to charge their vehicles until the remedy is completed. The remote start antenna cable may be pinched, which can cause the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) warning light not to illuminate as intended. BACK OVER PREVENTION: SENSING SYSTEM: CAMERA Nummer 24V676000 · 2024-09-12
Zusammenfassung: Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2018-2024 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. The wiring harness for the rearview camera and the center brake light may short circuit, which can disable the rearview camera image and center brake light. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 111, "Rear Visibility" and 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Risiko: A rearview camera image that does not display decreases the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash. Additionally, a center brake light that fails to illuminate can fail to indicate to other drivers that the vehicle is slowing down, increasing the risk of a crash.
Abhilfe: Dealers replaced the harness for the center brake light and rearview camera and/or the spare tire carrier/harness assembly, as necessary, free of charge.
