When closing the lift gate, the pistons did not compress and the glass shattered while still holding the lift gate. This resulted in cuts to two fingers on the left hand, ring and middle, cut across the knuckles with bleeding.

I was sitting in my car and the back wind shield exploded over my dog and I. Ford was made aware of the issue, and apparently the Bronco's rods hyper extend and cause the tempered glass to break.
