What owners report
I had just pulled into my parking space at work, my foot was the break pedal. I could of been in park, but cannot remember . It happened that quick. All of a sudden I heard an acceleration noise and my car was moving forward.
I was parallel parking and when I put the car in reverse and barely touched the gas it suddenly accelerated into the car behind me. It was so fast it shot backwards like a rock into the car parked behind me. This was not driver error.
On September 30, 2026, the factory-installed moonroof glass on my 2026 Honda HR-V EX-L suddenly shattered while I was driving on the freeway. There were no warning signs, unusual noises, or indications of a problem beforehand.
The rear backup camera is failed along with the audio unit. There is a recall 24V-384 for the year and make of this vehicle but not the exact model. I think the recall should be expanded. I took it to the dealer who says the unit needs to be replaced.
I own a 2022 Honda HR-V EX. The driver’s side interior door-release handle intermittently becomes stuck/binds and cannot be pulled through its normal range of motion, preventing the driver’s door from being opened from inside the vehicle.
In April, I returned to my vehicle in my employer’s parking lot in Cranberry Township, PA and found the rear window completely shattered, with glass both inside and outside the vehicle.
