What owners report
Hello I am reporting a safety concern involving a 2022 Honda Odyssey EX-L that was involved in an accident and declared a total loss. During the incident, I was driving in snowy conditions at approximately 50 mph while entering a split lane.
The CMBS braking system is completely faulty. It regularly brakes for shadows on the ground, going up hills, or for no reason at all. There have been SEVERAL near misses where cars behind me have almost rear ended me because of this cars erratic braking.
Ton of warning messages displayed related to ADAS systems not working. Took car to the dealership and was told the multicamera system failed.
The multipurpose camera went out due to heat apparently and stops the advanced driver assistance systems from working on the vehicle. It was taken to a dealership and was told it’s a known issue and is about 2k to fix.
Safety mitigation compoments failure that started as intermitent issues and now is consistent. Warning lights come on for Adaptive cruise control failure, Forward collision failure, Lane departure warning failure, high beam failure, lane keep assist failure…
Failure of the front multipurpose camera which helps control functions such as automatic braking, lane keep assist, automatic cruise control, lane departure, etc.
