I was trying to park the car in a parking spot. There was a curb to my right, So I was turning carefully to not rake my wheel against the curb. The car suddenly accelerated by itself, jumped the curb infront, hit a tree and stopped.
The vehicle lurched forward as I was parking and hit a parked vehicle in front of me; it accelerated forward even though my foot wasn't on the accelerator.
Shortly after purchasing my 2023 Volkswagen ID.4, the vehicle developed a failure involving the telematics/Car-Net system.
While driving on the highway, the entire infotainment started continuously rebooting over and over. I lost the ability to see my speed and which gear I was in among other things. They said that it is not part of the existing recall.
We are experiencing ongoing connectivity and safety‑related issues with our Volkswagen vehicle that have remained unresolved for more than six months.
