What owners report
There are many reports of the Mustang Mach E "accelerating unexpectedly." This usually happens in parking lots or other situations involving low speed and a rapid turn of the wheel. I know exactly what the problem is, because it happened to me this morning.
I just bought mach E. [XXX] I was in car line at Macdonalds to get food for my 14 year old son. The speeded itself to full speed. I luckily had both hands on wheel. I turned car to left away from car in front of me.
We recently brough the Mach E in for a recall of the rear camera. We mention the front camera alerts. They said due to safety concerns, sometime when the back camera goes out it affects all cameras.
Ongoing issues with forward facing radar preventing collision assistance and adaptive cruise control along with lane keep assist from working. Ford knows about this. There is even a TSB.

The front camera system does not function which causes all forward collision safety features to become unavailable, as well as any cruise control or automatic high beam lights. Seems to be a common issues and is related to faulty fiber optic cables.
