Fuel system - vehicle surged (high RPMS) while gearshift lever was in the Drive position after release of pressure on the accelerator as I was parking the vehicle surged and smashed into a cement post, the vehicle traveled approximately 10 to 15 feet.
I was driving my truck a 2019 TRD off road Tacoma from San Diego to LA I was on the 605 freeway in the fast lane when I noticed smoke smell and then I noticed fire flames by the air conditioner and the phone charging plate I proceed to Exit the freeway…
Engine developed a loud knock while under normal driving conditions at 61,000 miles. Oil was changed every 5k miles since new.
2018 Toyota Tacoma SR 4WD Double Cab, 3.5L V6 (2GR-FKS). At about 87,000 miles the check engine light came on with code P11EC, Cylinder 1 Air-Fuel Ratio Imbalance (Port). Cylinder 1 failed compression.
The contact owns a 2019 Toyota Tacoma. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the vehicle shuddered, stalled, and there was an abnormal sound coming from the vehicle.
Having two issues major issues that’s causing me a $10,000 bill. The timing cover is leaking and there is a coolant bypass hose that is leaking. I have spend a lot of maintenance on this truck on maintaining it to have to remove the engine.
