i was driving on XXX south to grab some Mexican food for dinner. on the way at one point i smelled something burning like an oil smell. but didnt see anything and suspected it was the old car in front of me. and my f150 was running fine.

The felt under shield on the Ford F150 ha came detached three times. I have replaced it each time. When I returned to the Ford dealer I was told not to replace because it will get wet and fall off again. More importantly they said it was not needed.
