2019 honda civic. Consumer writes in regard to design defect with the visibility of the rear window because it is tilted upwards. *as the consumer stated she backed into a vehicle due to being unable to see the vehicle in the rear.
"I was pulling into the parking lot, when the car started to accelerate on its own! I push the brake pedal to the max and it kept on going, over cement stoppers, grass, and finally a tree stop it from continuing! And I am not a zenior citizen yet!"
Evaporator failed at 63,000 miles, resulting in poor window defogging during morning hours. The failed evaporator also led to loss of cabin cooling resulting in excessive heat stress during daytime operation.
The air conditioning condenser failed prematurely due to a known manufacturing defect covered under Honda's 10-year warranty extension (TSB 19-091), but the dealership, Stokes Honda North and American Honda Motor Co.’s refused to honor the coverage.
