The accelerator stuck and the vehicle crashed. The vehicle is totaled. It happened [XXX]. No one has yet inspected the vehicle. I notified Hyundai about 5 days ago. The phone number of the towing company is [phone].
I pulled into the driveway and put on the brakes when the vehicle accelerated and ran into the garage and the frame. There are tire marks on the cement showing the brakes were applied.
I've had this vehicle for 13 months, and it has roughly 13K miles on it. Since 7/3/26, it has been in the service department at Hyundai of Noblesville on three separate occasions.
At approximately 67,000 miles, the vehicle experienced a sudden vibration when accelerate and decelerate. Engine light was on and vehicle had a hard time to maintain speed above 40mph. Cars were honking behind us due to the lack of speed on road.
The door to the gas tank is a push door which is temperamental. I can be at the pump and push the door to pop it open and it won't.
