I drove my car from for about an hour to my destination. I get to my destination and park and the car starts smoking lightly from under the hood and then increases. I was still sitting in the car when I was told my car was on fire.
Currently unknown on how the fire started, but something under the hood caught fire
The vehicle is a 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe Plug-in hybrid. Purchased new in January 2024. It currently has 40,087 miles. My wife and I were traveling were traveling at the posted speed limit when we heard a loud bank. The operation of the vehicle was not effected.
Fighting with Hyundai for a year over the vibration in the front, steering and seat seats. First, they said tires. Hyundai case mgmt #XXX. The tires were replaced by mfr warranty, vibration never stopped. @18253miles.
I have written and escalated to Hyundai Corporate about the same issue happening twice to me already and I just got the car in April. May, July, and now September 25th the car loses acceleration while on the interstate at high speeds.
I bought my 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe at Auto Fair Hyundai in [XXX] in XXX new. This is my third Hyundai from this location over the years. I have always serviced it there ever since I bought it.
