We were at a complete stop waiting for traffic to go, I had my foot on the brake pedal and the car lunge/revved up and hit the car in front of me. This is the 3rd time this has happened.
The contact rented a 2025 Chrysler Pacifica. While the contact's husband was driving at an undisclosed speed, the brake pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to stop. The vehicle was driven to the residence.
Almost got in 2 separate accidents because of a failed brake booster. No symptoms before hand to let me know anything was wrong.
The brake booster has failed, a hissing noise is audible coming from the brake pedal when depressed. I have also noticed reducing stopping power in certain situations.
The vehicle’s braking system is not working properly. The brake pedal pumps and does not always respond correctly when pressure is applied. When backing up, the brakes pump and do not stop the vehicle as expected.
When trying making a sudden stop at a red light the or to stop the van it will not stop it keeps going
