オーナーの報告
The Honda Sensing automated system suffered a phantom activation. It threw a visual brake warning, violently applied the brakes, and jerked the steering wheel causing a collision impact to other vehicles.
The contact owns a 2025 Honda Civic Hatchback Hybrid. The contact stated that while driving 50 MPH and approaching another vehicle, the adaptive cruise control mode failed to operate as needed. The message " Brake" was displayed.
The front camera is inoperative. None of the safety features like automatic emergency braking are working. Dealer inspected and said needs a new camera which they can order.

While pulling into a parking lot at approximately 10–15 mph around sunset, the vehicle suddenly and unexpectedly engaged the brakes without any input from me. The abrupt braking caused all of my personal belongings inside the vehicle to be thrown forward.
At least a half dozen times the car would brake automatically when nothing was in front of the car. The BRAKE warning light would appear on the dashboard as the car abruptly slowed down. The car slowed down but never came to a complete stop.
