While child was seated in the rear right second-row seat of a 2022 Honda Odyssey Touring, the seat belt became stuck and jammed, trapping the child in the car seat. Multiple attempts were made to release the child but the seat belt mechanism would not release.

Hello I am reporting a safety concern involving a 2022 Honda Odyssey EX-L that was involved in an accident and declared a total loss. During the incident, I was driving in snowy conditions at approximately 50 mph while entering a split lane.

The engine fails to restart on its own after the Auto Idle Stop (auto start/stop) system shuts it off at a stop. When this occurs the vehicle is left without power and I must shift to Park and restart the engine manually with the ignition button.

I have pictures, but come to find out 2018-2024 odysseys have rear shocks that come apart at the top weld. The shock never got painted originally and they rot under the rubber boot and cause the shock to come apart into two pieces.

Résumé: Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2018-2023 Odyssey, 2019-2022 Pilot, and 2019-2023 Passport vehicles. Due to a faulty Media Oriented Systems Transport (MOST) communication coaxial cable connector, the rearview camera image may not appear on the display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."

Risque: A rearview camera that does not display an image can reduce the driver's rear view, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

Remède: Dealers will replace the MOST cable harness and install a straightening cover over the vehicle cable connector, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 24, 2023. The heating pads behind both side-view mirrors may not be bonded properly, allowing the mirror glass to detach. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."

Risque: Detached mirror glass can reduce driver visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

Résumé: Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2022 Odyssey vehicles equipped with Bridgestone tires. The affected vehicles may have a tire that contains a pinhole, causing a slow air leak. As such, these tires fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 139, "New Pneumatic Radial Tires for Light Vehicles."

Risque: A slow air leak can affect tire performance, and increase the risk of a crash.
