72K miles on vehicle and twice it has shutdown the transmission and shifted into neutral, both events occurred at highway speeds.
The 9-speed transmission in my vehicle has been acting very strange after owning it since March 2026.These issues did not start until May 2026. When driving the vehicle at low speeds (under 30mph) the transmission is very jumpy and jerky.
10 speed transmission at times down shifts harshly at low speed coming to a stop. you have to feather the brake pedal to come to a smooth stop without the head jerking.
Passport 10 speed harsh shifting at low speeds. Does not shift from lower gears smoothly. Engine revs between gears. It's a hydraulyic shift flare. In addition, harsh downshifting and abrupt deceleration when lifting off the gas pedal.
The contact owns a 2026 Honda Passport. The contact stated that the wheel alignment was required due to an off-center steering wheel.
