09/17/23 Was driving 65mph, car was slowing Down in front of me and turned cruise control off. Immediately car started stalling. Was in middle lane with cars on both sides. Turned on flashers and no power in gas pedal.

Three times the back hatch has opened on its own within minutes after parking it, and car off.Last time I feared I was going to be crushed against garage door. The hatch continues to open even after hitting me. Last time was very hard to stop it.

As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 212, "Windshield Mounting."
