On Feb 14th 2023 I hit a deer. Got out of my jeep to check damage. Had a broken headlamp overall seemed OK & repairable. Got back in the jeep & continued driving. When I got home & parked in my garage I noticed an odd smell.

When the master headlight switch is set to the AUTO position, the driver may be unable to quickly activate the high beams. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Remède: Dealers will reconfigure the vehicle high beam parameters, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 7, 2024. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is 12B.
