The vehicle would not accelerate and caused my to bump into a wall. The vehicle is spluttering and the interior filled with chemical smoke caused by a coolant leak and it burning by the motor.

On the dash board, it displayed a severe warning regarding "engine over temprature" that caused due to the engine coolant intrusion in to the cylinder 2 and caused it to misfire and the engine light to be displayed.

It just started happening. Sweet smelling white fumes emitting from exhaust pipes and engine. Mechanic said not to drive it. It was a head gasket issue. Repair cost estimate at $10,000. I needed a car . Fix or buy?? No time to fix. Sold to car yard for $3,800.

Summary: Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Bronco, F-150, Edge, Explorer, Lincoln Nautilus, and Lincoln Aviator vehicles equipped with either a 2.7L or 3.0L Nano EcoBoost engine. The engine intake valves may break while driving, which can result in engine failure and a loss of drive power.
Remedy: Dealers will perform an engine cycle test and replace the engine as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 3, 2025. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 24S55.
