What owners report
Component that failed: High-voltage main battery pack assembly and associated electrical architecture. The vehicle and the component are currently located at my home and are available for inspection upon request.
On April 20th while parking the vehicle suddenly had a power surge crossing over multiple curbs and across a parking lot and landscaped areas and hitting a tree. The vehicle refused to brake and the driver airbag never deployed.
I was driving my vehicle and it suddenly lost all power. I had to stop in an unsafe place on the road and wait to get my car towed.
Full electrical power system failure. Heard a loud pop noise emanating from under the rear seats of the car. The power. Failure lights came on and the car lost power.
I heard a loud popped sound from the back of my car while driving home. The car lost power and eventually died on the street. The war displacy came on to tell em to check electrical system.
Active powertrain failure on my 2022 Ioniq 5 SE, which poses an immediate and severe safety risk. On May 18, 2026, the vehicle suffered a catastrophic loss of power and a complete failure to charge.
