What owners report
Our 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 has been sitting unrepaired for almost five months due to a complete lack of availability of an essential replacement part (front bumper lower molding part number 86569PI000).
All symptoms of a 2nd iccu failure. Pop noise heard. Warning lights came on 12v drained, vehicle towed to nearest dealer.
On 3/19/2026. Battery was at 20% SOC. Plugged in my home L2 charger. Car did not start. Took vehicle to dealer the next morning 3/20/2026. It was diagnosed as an ICCU failure.
ICCU went bad. Battery warning light appeared a few hours before Vehicle stopped. Vehicle was inoperable and needed to be towed.
Diagnosed ICCU Failure. Complete loss of power, went into "turtle mode," then told to stop car immediately and have it towed to the dealership. Vehicle diagnosed several days later as having an ICCU Failure.
Entered car on very cold day. Put heater and defroster on high, drove about a mile and then the window cracked.
