While traveling at the posted speed limit and approaching a signalized intersection, I attempted to brake for stopped traffic ahead.
Told to replace brakes and rotors at 13000 miles. Out of pocket Took my car in with 3-4000 miles and asked same shop to look into brake issues rear brakes and was told the was no issue. Rear wheels were always black form brake pads being torn to shreds.
On September 25th 2026, while driving my 2020 Volkswagen Jetta south on Route 12, the driver-front wheel completely separated from the vehicle while in motion.
The panoramic sunroof glass shattered spontaneously while driving. I was accelerating onto the highway from an on-ramp at approximately 50 to 60 mph. There were no vehicles in front of me and the highway was empty, so nothing could have struck the glass.
