On June 3, 2026 at approximately 3:48 PM, I was operating my 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning Flash in front of my home. The vehicle was at a stop or near-stop.
On September 19, 2025, my wife was at the wheel of our 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning (VIN: [XXX] ), a vehicle we had leased just months earlier on June 22, 2025, from Sam Galloway Ford at [XXX] .
I am writing to report a serious safety issue introduced by a recent firmware update regarding the Sport mode and 1-pedal driving behavior. After driving the vehicle in Sport mode, parking, and restarting, the dashboard prompts me to return to Sport mode.
Description On your vehicle, the integrated park module ipm may not properly engage the park pawl, preventing the vehicle from locking into park when park p is selected.
