I leased this 2024 Nissan Pathfinder new, and the issue began almost immediately, at approximately 13 miles. I initially noticed intermittent stuttering and the vehicle jumping or lurching forward following acceleration.

The lap belt pretensioner in the left-side front seat belt assembly may be improperly secured, due to a missing rivet. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 208 "Occupant Crash Protection," 209 "Seat Belt Assemblies," and 210 "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."
위험: An unsecured lap belt pretensioner will not properly restrain an occupant during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
조치: Dealers will inspect and replace the left-side front lap seat belt pretensioner assemblies as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 18, 2024.
