This is the second report filing about the trunk lid closing without initiating the automatic closure. In order to keep this record accurate, the vehicle was brought into the Mercedes Benz dealer, (where it was purchased), on May 23, 2023.
May 4, 2023 at approximately 5:45 PM, while reaching into the trunk of my car, the trunk lid came crashing down on me. To avoid being struck on the head, I blocked it with me left forearm. The trunk lid caused a large nasty and painful wound.
