was driving my 2022 Mustang Mach-E in "One-Pedal" Whisper mode on. I always drive in that mode because it has a great feature where as soon as I take my foot off the accelerator the car slows down significantly.
Vehicle shutdown while driving causing total power loss and hitting a parked vehicle. No alerts or notifications were present at the time.
I just had the High voltage battery junction box replaced after being in shop 16 days. Upon arrival to my house yesterday my car would not charge.
The high voltage battery junction box connector has failed. There have been two recalls one software and one to replace this part the high voltage battery junction box with a more robust part to handle thermal loads.
I was pulling into a parking lot at low speed when the car suddenly began accelerating rapidly on its own. Fortunately, when I hit the brakes it stopped without incident.
