Zusammenfassung: Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4XE and 2024-2025 Jeep Wrangler 4XE Plug-In Hybrid Electric (PHEV) vehicles. Debris inside the engine may cause engine failure, which can result in a loss of drive power and/or an engine compartment fire.

Risiko: A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash, and a vehicle fire can increase the risk of injury.

Abhilfe: Dealers will install a software update and replace the block or engine as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning May 7, 2026. Risiko: A vehicle fire can increase the risk of injury.

Abhilfe: Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures and not to charge their vehicles until the remedy is completed. Dealers will update the high voltage battery software, and replace the high voltage battery, as necessary, free of charge. Some owner notification letters were mailed beginning December 17, 2025. Zusammenfassung: Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Grand Cherokee L vehicles. The second-row seat head restraints may not lock in the upright position. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 202, "Head Restraints."

Incorrect software in the rearview camera module may cause the rearview camera image not to display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."

Risiko: A rearview camera image that does not display decreases the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

The radiator crossmember bolts may not be properly secured, which can lead to improper air bag deployments and a fuel leak during a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 208, "Occupant Crash Protection" and 301, "Fuel System Integrity."

An improperly secured connector for the front seat side air bags (SAB) may prevent the air bags from deploying. Abhilfe: This recall is replaced by NHTSA recall number 25V741. Vehicles already repaired under this recall will need to have the new remedy completed. CHILD SEAT:VEHICLE TETHER ANCHOR Nummer 24V586000 · 2024-08-08

Zusammenfassung: Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L vehicles.  The child seat tether welds on the second-row seat back frame may be insufficient, which can reduce the seat's ability to properly restrain a child during a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 225, "Child Restraint Anchorage Systems."

Risiko: A child that is not properly restrained during a crash can have an increased risk of injury.

The front bumper may be missing energy absorbing foam, which can cause the front air bags not to deploy as intended. When the master headlight switch is set to the AUTO position, the driver may be unable to quickly activate the high beams. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
