What owners report
On July 31st, while backing up on a clear road in rain the brakes locked suddenly. The brakes applied & a message saying Emergency Parking brake engaged. Must be manually released.
The contact owns a 2024 Chevrolet Traverse. The contact stated that while attempting to open the hatch, the hatch opened and then unintendedly lowered within seconds.
When I purchased my car, I was given an alert from the brake sensor that the front pads needed service. I returned the car to the dealer and they were able to reset the alert. A few months later, I got another alert that the front brake pads were at 18%.
When I am in reverse, the car will slam on the brakes without warning even without a hazard or object in the way.
I was driving down the road and plactic trim piece where super cruise is at top of steering cracked popped off itself with that piece off its hard to steer properly without hitting inside of your hand I have to be careful not to get cut where plastic broke…
